Last April 19 and 22, our 5th and 6th grade Sanpascualinos performed two theatres in English of two great popular stories: Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carrol and the Wizard of Oz based on the 1939 film. Before the performance, both groups carried out research work on both stories. 5th grade was in charge of researching Alice in Wonderland while 6th grade analyzed the different versions that there had been of the Wizard of Oz. Both plays have the aim of improving all the skills in English (Speaking, listening, reading, writing) also improving the pronunciation of the language. You can check the project they have in the second term. They really enjoyed performing the plays and getting into the role. Some scenes really took us to Dorothy and the Scarecrow or Alice looking for the white rabbit when he was in rush.
