Colegio San Pascual La educación como valor

Erasmus+

Since a few years ago our center is immersed in the Erasmus+ program. This European initiative is an EU program that supports education, training, youth and sport in Europe.

In this way, we are working together with schools in Belgium, Turkey, Portugal and Finland.

This program is based on the exchange of practices and experiences between the schools involved in the project, creating European awareness and developing intra- and intercultural understanding. Since the program is conducted in English, emphasis will be placed on the development of English language skills in the students.

The Erasmus+ program proposes the achievement of the following objectives:

San Pascual in Erasmus+

The project to which we are attached “Digital Storytelling for Creativity and Social Emotional Learning”. This project is based on the use of Storytelling through digital tools, in order to turn students into creators (and communicators) of content while acquiring literacy skills, as well as greater understanding in all areas of the curriculum.

To this end, traditional streams have been combined with those provided by new technologies. In this way, students have used word processors, visual programming languages, created videos, audios…etc.

In this way, students can show that their writings and publications have a real impact on the world, as they will be read and discussed in other countries by students of the same age.

In addition to the various activities they have carried out (such as, for example, the presentation of the school or the creation of a logo, creation of stories and videos, scratch projects, poetry reading…), and those they will carry out in the future, the students will travel to Finland for the work on myths and legends.

This project is based on collaboration and teamwork among peers. In a collaborative environment, students are actively engaged in the exchange of ideas and are responsible for achieving their academic goals while helping other peers in their group. Through this activity, students will also develop organizational and management skills.

The “Digital Storytelling for Creativity and Social Emotional Learning” project is co-funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ program.
