Spring Workshop

On March 28th, the Early Childhood Education students visited the Island garden to conduct our Spring Workshop, as part of our “Seasons of the Year Project.” This year, the story “The Wizard of Oz” was the guiding theme for learning about the flowery season of spring.

We have learnt several things about this season: its fruits and vegetables, the parts of plants, primary and secondary colours, the different climatic characteristics of each season (spring, summer, fall, and winter), and values such as friendship and teamwork in overcoming challenges. The protagonist of the story and her classmates demonstrate that together, with mutual support and collaboration, and with their courage, love, and intelligence, they can face any obstacle and triumph over adversity. And that true power and wisdom lie within. To liven up each activity, we sang and danced to fun and lively songs.

As a final touch , we got back to school  with a view to giving out out diplomas, provided by the headmistress.

Once again, we would like to thank the parents who participated in this workshop and surprised us with their animal and character costumes and their motivating, dynamic, and fun activities.

We had a great time!
