On March 19th, the 1st, 2nd, 5th, and 6th grade Primary Education students went on an exciting visit to the Science Museum of Castilla-La Mancha in Cuenca. It was a day full of discoveries, learning, and experiences that sparked everyone’s curiosity.
The 1st and 2nd grade students took part in the “Bugs” workshop, where they discovered the vital importance of insects for maintaining ecosystem balance through demonstrations, hands-on experiments, and surprising moments full of magic.
Meanwhile, the 5th and 6th grade students attended the “Food Chemistry” workshop, where they investigated the components of different foods through chemical reactions, raising interesting questions such as whether everything we consume is really as healthy as it seems.
In addition, all the groups enjoyed a guided tour through the museum’s different rooms, exploring its exhibitions and discovering in a practical and engaging way many aspects related to science, technology, and the environment around us. They also had the opportunity to attend a session in the planetarium, where they were introduced to the fascinating world of astronomy through its animations.
Between experiments, discoveries, and moments of wonder, the day became a very special experience for everyone. The students enjoyed learning in a different way, returning to school with new ideas, curiosities, and a more awakened perspective on the world of science. Who knows? Maybe one day they will become great scientists.
