Last Wednesday, November 12th, our Primary School students lived an “out-of-this-world experience” during their visit to the Lunar Museum in Fresnedilla de la Oliva.
It was a day full of excitement, learning, and fun, in which everyone became astronauts, engineers, and space explorers for a day.
The students from 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades took part in the activity “Journey Through the Solar System.” They visited the different planets through an immersive virtual reality experience and discovered many of the universe’s secrets. They also learned what life is like for astronauts and even imagined what it would be like to walk on the Moon or visit Mars.
Meanwhile, 4th, 5th, and 6th graders faced the exciting challenge of “Building Saturn V,” the largest rocket ever built and the one that took humankind to the Moon during the Apollo 11 mission. They became true aerospace engineers, putting their creativity and ingenuity to the test.
Amid laughter, discoveries, and an eagerness to learn, everyone enjoyed an unforgettable day. On their way back, their eyes sparkled with excitement and their minds were full of dreams… Who knows? Maybe one day we’ll have a future astronaut among them!
