Workshop on the Nature and Traditions of Aranjuez

This Tuesday, April 30th, the first and second grade students at San Pascual School enjoyed a very special day thanks to the collaboration of several parents, who came to the school to lead a workshop specially designed for the children.

The goal of the workshop was to introduce the students to the natural and cultural richness of Aranjuez, helping them learn about its environment, its traditional foods, and iconic elements such as the famous Strawberry Train (Tren de la Fresa). Throughout the morning, the children took part in a variety of fun and creative activities. They made aromatic sachets using natural products, completed puzzles with images of typical local items, drew asparagus—one of Aranjuez’s most well-known agricultural products—and painted a landscape using tempera paints. As a final activity, they created a collective tree using their fingerprints, symbolizing their connection to nature and teamwork.

We would like to sincerely thank the families who participated and made this wonderful activity possible. It was truly a meaningful and enriching experience for everyone involved.
