DREAM WITHOUT LIMITS!
This week we have enthusiastically celebrated the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, a special date to remember that science also has a woman’s name.
Each class has researched important women scientists from the past, such as Marie Curie, an example of effort and courage, as well as inspiring women of the present, such as Sara García Alonso, the first Spanish woman selected by the European Space Agency to carry out future space missions.
We have also learned about pioneers of programming such as Ada Lovelace, Hedy Lamarr and Dorothy Vaughan, whose discoveries are present today in WiFi, GPS and even artificial intelligence. Thanks to women like them, we benefit from major advances that are now part of our daily lives.
Our students have worked with respect, interest and admiration, understanding that talent knows no gender. We hope this celebration inspires all girls to choose the profession they love most and to dream without limits.
